No, the primary account holder will receive the Donor Rank and priority points.

Priority points may not be transferred from one person to another (except a spouse as defined by applicable state law) or from one account to another. Upon the death of the donor, points will be transferred to the spouse (if applicable or desired).

TICKETS & PARKING

Season tickets can be purchased through your MyCuse account or by contacting the Box Office at 888-DOME-TIX.

Season parking passes are available to purchase on an annual basis for football and men’s basketball. Check out our Key Dates to review the parking selection process timeline. If you are a season ticket holder, you will receive communications about when and how to purchase season parking passes.

If a lot is no longer available (i.e. construction, limited inventory), you will have the ability to choose the next best available parking pass based on your Donor Rank.

We only allow the season ticket holder of record to request a transfer of their season tickets. All season ticket transfer requests must be submitted in writing to dometix@syr.edu to be reviewed by management. All ticket transfers must be moved to a new account and are subject to a new Premium A or B pledge. Season tickets are only eligible to be transferred to immediate family members. Immediate family members include spouses, parents and grandparents, children and grandchildren, and brothers and sisters. Please note that all tickets in the Premium A and B zones for men’s basketball season tickets require an additional donation upon transfer. Premium A requires a $2,500 pledge paid in full during the first year. Premium B requires a $1,250 pledge paid in full during the first year. Priority points do not transfer.

DONATIONS & TAX INFORMATION

Donations to Syracuse University, outside of required gifts related to the purchase of season tickets, are deductible to the extent permitted by law. Please consult with a tax advisor for your specific situation.

Yes. Philanthropic gifts can be scheduled on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. The recurring schedule for seat related requirements are determined at the date of purchase. The Box Office will automatically charge your selected method of payment upon sign-up and continue to charge each installment for the selected sport(s) for the term of the plan. Sign up online via the MyCuse account, by phone, or by mailing your renewal invoice and an acceptable form of payment. Payment plans do not rollover from one year to the next. You must enroll on an annual basis. Visit MyCuse to select the fund for your gift.

Due to new IRS regulations, many companies have changed their policies. Consult your employer’s benefits office to see about matching gift eligibility. If eligible, fill out a matching gift form from your employer and submit it with your donation in a timely manner. Any matching gifts received from corporations that do not match athletics will be applied to the University’s general fund. Syracuse University’s Advancement Services will notify donors of their corporate match status.
