Peter Deloria joined Syracuse Athletics and the ‘Cuse Athletics Fund as Director of Development, Major Gifts in July of 2023. In his role at Syracuse, Deloria pursues increased philanthropic support for SU Athletics’ top priorities through the Legend Society and major gift fundraising initiatives. Deloria is responsible for supporting New York regions including Syracuse, Central New York, Rochester and New York City, as well as national regions including New Jersey, North Carolina, Southern Connecticut, Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C. and the surrounding areas.
Prior to arriving at Syracuse, Deloria spent five years as Regional Sales Manager with Aegis Sciences Corporation, a national leader in healthcare and forensic laboratory sciences.
A native of Saratoga Springs, New York, Deloria earned his B.S. in Communications and Public Relations in 2007 from SUNY Cortland in Cortland, New York, where he was a 4-year member of the hockey team playing in 98 career games. He also received his M.S. in Sport Management from SUNY Cortland in 2008.
Peter and his wife Betsy reside in Syracuse with their two daughters, Molly and Abby.
