Whisper Fisher joined Syracuse University Athletics in 2019 as a member of the Women’s Basketball team and graduate student in the Falk College of Sport. Whisper makes her return to Syracuse joining the ‘Cuse Athletic Fund as the Associate Director of Development, Former Student Athlete Engagement. In this role, Whisper oversees former student athlete engagement strategies and implementation in collaboration with our 20 varsity sports, the Office of Student-Athlete Engagement, and the Office of Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving.
From 2020 to 2023, Whisper played professional basketball in Portugal, Finland and Czech Republic. During her offseasons, Whisper worked with the Washington Wizards as a Jr Wizards Basketball Coach and volunteered both in the US and South America.
Prior to her time as a Syracuse student-athlete, Whisper played at Saint Joseph’s University and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. Whisper earned her Master’s Degree from Syracuse in Sport Venue and Event Management. At both universities, Whisper earned a spot on Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and additionally earned a spot on ACC Honor Roll at SU.
A native of Owings Mills, MD, Whisper now resides in Syracuse, NY.
